The club is having a great summer on the water and off. I am encouraged by the growth and friendships that I am seeing within our membership. There are so many things happening but we need to remember that "God is in control" and He needs to be the center of our activities. When things are going great I need to be even more aware of my dependence on Gods grace in my life.
I hope to see all of you at our meeting next Thursday. We have had two club tournaments, we are going to be talking about our August Tournament at Lake Waconia and will be starting to discuss our Fall Outing.
We have a great speaker this month with Larry Hanson speaking to us. Bring a friend, bring your questions and look for a wonderful meeting with friends.

Northerns went north for this tournamnet
The Fishers of Men Summer Tournament at North South Center lake was the perfect birthday present for me. I got to spend the morning with Cory and we had a blast fishing together. Congratulations to Gary and LeRoy for taking 1st place with 4 Bass with an average length of 19".
Brad Hoium is organizing a fun non-fishing family event at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater on Thursday, October 13th for members and guests who would like to join us. With the high demand for tickets we could only block 24 seats next to each other.

Ticket price of $77.31 includes excellent seats level with the stage, dinner and of course the Musical Footloose. Please let Brad know on or before August 8th if you can attend. We will be collecting the cost on or before September 15th.

This is going to be a Bass Tournament on Lake Waconia.
Location: We will be launching from the landing at the Lake Waconia Regional Park located at 8170 Paradise Lane, Waconia MN 55387
Time: We will be fishing from 6:30 to 12:30
