September 2022
Are you ready four our 2022 Fall Outing to the Shores of St Andrew Bible Camp in New London, MN? We have an excellent schedule of fishing and time in Gods word not to mention the excellent fellowship that always comes with our time together. If you are planning on joining us please get your information to Dave Simpson by our September 1st meeting.
the cost for the weekend will be $165.00 which will include 7 meals. Bed linens and towels will be provided by the camp.
Our first meal will be Thursday evening at 6:30 followed by devotions and a run down of the weekend. Also make sure you let Dave know if you are a boater or non-boater.
Please bring your check book to the next meeting so we can collect for the weekend.
August Meeting
It was good to get back together after not having a meeting in July. We were blessed to have Larry Hanson as our guest speaker. Larry is Pro Team Staff and a Professional Guide. Larry shared his years of experience with us. Larry can be heard Sunday evening on BOB 104
Larry shared information about using Carolina Rigs (tungsten drop weights, 20# braid with 17# leader). We also talked about "The Chicken", cast it out and slowly reel it back in. We also talked about the "Drop Shot" with a Flatworm.
Larry's advice is to always weed lines and inside turns are best.

Summer Meeting Schedule
September 1 - Lutheran Church of the Master beginning at 7:00 PM
Summer Club Tournaments
October 8 - Multi Species Team Tournament on a Mystery Lake
From the desk of Tim Jewell
Here it is, I can’t believe it, but summer is almost over. However, some of the best fishing is still to come. Don’t put your boats away yet, we have at least 2 more months of great fishing to look forward to and 2 more events. In September we have our annual fall retreat. We will be back at the Shores of St. Andrew down in Spicer this year. It will be a great time of fun, fellowship & fishing. Then a new event this year will be a tournament fishing trip on October 8 at a mystery lake. The details will be given out at the October meeting.
At our last meeting, I talked about using an app called GroupMe. I have created the group and will be adding everyone who wants to be part of this communication vehicle to the app. This app will give us the ability to Communicate quickly with everyone and each of us can start the chats. For instance, if you are having a great day fishing you can send a picture to everyone to show what’s going on. We will take time at the September meeting to make sure that everyone can get connected. If you want to be part of this, please download the GroupMe app for your phone before the meeting.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting on September 1.

October 8 Club Mystery Tournament
I hope our Multi Species October Tournament is not a Mississippi Noodling Tournament.
